COVID UPDATES

On November 4, 2021 the Plains School District was notified that a school staff member had tested positive for COVID-19.  The positive test was confirmed on November 4.  The staff members was last on campus on November 4, 2021 the same day as the staff members’ diagnosis.  The staff member was not in close contact with staff/students during the period of possible exposure.

If any staff or students are at risk of exposure, the Sanders County Health Department will be in contact with that person to determine a safe and appropriate course of action.  It is still recommended that any person who feels sick or ill, seek out their medical provider for specific instructions.  The Plains School District is in constant contact with the Health Department and reviewing the Centers for Disease Control guidance..  School officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information if and when it becomes available.
