COVID UPDATES

September 15, 2021

On September 15, 2021 the Plains School District was notified that 1 student tested positive for COVID-19.  The positive test was confirmed on September 15.  The district’s staff and students were not in contact with the students during the period of possible exposure.  The students last learned in person-to-person contact with fellow students on September 8.

If any staff or students are at risk of exposure, the Sanders County Health Department will be in contact with that person to determine a safe and appropriate course of action.  It is still recommended that any person who feels sick or ill, seek out their medical provider for specific instructions.  The Plains School District is in constant contact with the Health Department and reviewing the Centers for Disease Control guidance..  School officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information if and when it becomes available.
